Dr. David Lewis

Dr. David Lewis is a board-certified chiropractor, practicing in Henniker, New Hampshire. Dr. Lewis has been in practice since 1992 and sees a wide variety of patients ranging from infants and the elderly to athletes and weekend warriors.

He came from a sporting background, being active in martial arts, wrestling, and powerlifting throughout his high school and collegiate career. Dr. Lewis became passionate about chiropractic when he experienced excruciating headaches prior to the Teenage National Powerlifting Championship. He sought help from orthopedists and neurologists to alleviate the pain, but did not make any improvements. Shortly thereafter, a friend suggested he try chiropractic.  After only a few treatments, his excruciating pain was gone and he went on the win the Nationals.  From that point on, he knew he wanted to become a chiropractor to positively impact the lives of others like his had been impacted.

Soon after graduating high school, Dr. Lewis joined the Air Force and served in the military for five years. He completed his bachelor’s degree before moving to Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Linda, where he attended Life Chiropractic College.

They decided to move back to the northeast to open his first practice. Soon after their daughter was born, Dr. Lewis moved his practice to Henniker, NH. Wanting to experience rural New Hampshire life, the family started a successful sheep farm. When not in the office, Dr. Lewis enjoyed training his border collie sheep dogs on their farm and then taking his dogs to competitions across the northeast.

In 2012, the family decided to sell their farm. Dr. Lewis and his wife now live in picturesque Newbury, NH and spend most of their free-time mountain biking and enjoying the outdoors.

He is looking forward to meeting you and your family and helping you on the road to better health!

Dr. Kaitlin Lewis

Dr. Kaitlin Lewis is proud to join her father, Dr. David Lewis, at Lewis Family Chiropractic in Henniker, NH - a practice that has been serving the community since 1992. For Dr. Kaitlin, this is far more than a career move. It is the fulfillment of a lifelong calling that was shaped by her upbringing, her experiences, and a deep belief in the power of chiropractic care.

Chiropractic was woven into her life from the very beginning. Raised in a chiropractic household and receiving adjustments from birth, she grew up with a firsthand understanding of how proper spinal health can transform the way people feel and function. That foundation never left her - even as her path took some unexpected turns along the way.

Dr. Kaitlin grew up on the family's sheep farm in New Hampshire, where she developed a strong work ethic and a love of the outdoors. She competed and judged sheep through 4-H programs across the country - a tradition that connected her deeply to rural New England life and to her family's roots. She also competed in downhill and freestyle skiing throughout high school, fueling a passion for sport and movement that has only grown stronger with time.

She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire, where she also discovered a love of cycling that she would carry with her for years. After graduation, she joined KPMG as a CPA and built a successful career in finance. But the long hours at a desk began to take a real toll on her body. Feeling far older than her years, she knew something had to change. It was during this time that her lifelong connection to chiropractic came back into sharp focus and she made the decision to pursue it wholeheartedly.

Dr. Kaitlin was accepted to Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2026. During her time at Life U, she was an active and engaged member of the student community. She restarted the cycling club and served as both its president and vice president, and was also involved with the Motion Palpation Institute chiropractic technique club throughout her entire tenure, eventually rising to vice president. She also discovered a love of powerlifting during chiropractic school, adding yet another dimension to her already diverse athletic background.

Her commitment to chiropractic extends beyond the clinic walls. During her time at Life University, Dr. Kaitlin participated in several chiropractic mission trips, traveling to the Dominican Republic and Haiti to provide care to underserved communities. These experiences reinforced her conviction that chiropractic care is not a luxury, it is a vital component of health and wellbeing for people of all walks of life, and she is honored to have been able to bring that care to those who needed it most.

Dr. Kaitlin is Graston Technique certified and trained in dynamic cupping, Impulse® adjusting, and manual adjusting, with a particular interest in treating foot conditions and plantar fasciitis. She will be completing her Cox Flexion Distraction Technique certification in October 2026, further expanding the care offered to patients at Lewis Family Chiropractic.

She is passionate about helping patients of all ages - from active athletes and weekend warriors to those struggling with the everyday wear and tear of desk work and daily life. Having experienced that struggle herself, she brings both professional expertise and genuine empathy to every patient interaction. Her goal is the same as the practice's founding mission: to help people be the best they can be through specific, customized, and results-driven chiropractic care.

Outside the office, Dr. Kaitlin can be found mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, or in the gym - living the active lifestyle she encourages in her patients, and carrying on a love of the outdoors that has defined the Lewis family for generations.
